3,796. The Difference Between Yoveil and Rosh Hashana
Hilchos Shemittah v’Yoveil 10:11
The rules for blowing shofar for yoveil and for Rosh Hashana are exactly the same. In both cases the tekiyos are blown, except that in yoveil they are blown both in a court that sanctifies the new month and in one that doesn’t. Not only that, but so long as the court is in session, each individual is obligated to blow shofar even when not in front of the court.

On the other hand, when Rosh Hashana fell on Shabbos, shofar would only be blown in a court that sanctified the new month. Each individual could only sound the shofar in front of the court.
