Psalms 93:1
ה’ מָלָךְ גֵּאוּת לָבֵשׁ
Hashem reigns, clothed in majesty.
This is the Psalm of the Day for Friday, which is the sixth day of the week. The Talmud in Rosh Hashana (31a) explains why. Our verse tells us that “Hashem reigns, clothed in majesty.” On the sixth day of Creation, Hashem completed His “work” and reigned over it, enrobed in the majesty of the universe that He had made.
