(יח) וּבָשָׂ֕ר כִּֽי־יִהְיֶ֥ה בֽוֹ־בְעֹר֖וֹ שְׁחִ֑ין וְנִרְפָּֽא׃ (יט) וְהָיָ֞ה בִּמְק֤וֹם הַשְּׁחִין֙ שְׂאֵ֣ת לְבָנָ֔ה א֥וֹ בַהֶ֖רֶת לְבָנָ֣ה אֲדַמְדָּ֑מֶת וְנִרְאָ֖ה אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ (כ) וְרָאָ֣ה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה מַרְאֶ֙הָ֙ שָׁפָ֣ל מִן־הָע֔וֹר וּשְׂעָרָ֖הּ הָפַ֣ךְ לָבָ֑ן וְטִמְּא֧וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֛ן נֶֽגַע־צָרַ֥עַת הִ֖וא בַּשְּׁחִ֥ין פָּרָֽחָה׃ (כא) וְאִ֣ם ׀ יִרְאֶ֣נָּה הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵֽין־בָּהּ֙ שֵׂעָ֣ר לָבָ֔ן וּשְׁפָלָ֥הֿ אֵינֶ֛נָּה מִן־הָע֖וֹר וְהִ֣יא כֵהָ֑ה וְהִסְגִּיר֥וֹ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃ (כב) וְאִם־פָּשֹׂ֥ה תִפְשֶׂ֖ה בָּע֑וֹר וְטִמֵּ֧א הַכֹּהֵ֛ן אֹת֖וֹ נֶ֥גַע הִֽוא׃ (כג) וְאִם־תַּחְתֶּ֜יהָ תַּעֲמֹ֤ד הַבַּהֶ֙רֶת֙ לֹ֣א פָשָׂ֔תָה צָרֶ֥בֶת הַשְּׁחִ֖ין הִ֑וא וְטִהֲר֖וֹ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ {ס}
(יח) וּבִסְרָא אֲרֵי יְהֵי בֵיהּ בְּמַשְׁכֵּיהּ שִׁחֲנָא וְיִתַּסֵּי: (יט) וִיהֵי בַּאֲתַר שִׁחֲנָא עַמְקָא חַוְּרָא אוֹ בַהֲרָא חַוְּרָא סַמְקָא וְיִתַּחֲזִי לְכַהֲנָא: (כ) וְיֶחֱזֵי כַהֲנָא וְהָא מֶחֱזָהָא מַכִּיךְ מִן מַשְׁכָּא וּשְׂעָרַהּ אִתְהֲפִיךְ לְמֶחֱוָר וִיסָאֵבִינֵיהּ כַּהֲנָא מַכְתַּשׁ סְגִירוּתָא הִיא בְּשִׁחֲנָא סְגִיאַת: (כא) וְאִם יֶחֱזִנַּהּ כַּהֲנָא וְהָא לֵית בַּהּ שֵׂעָר חִוָּר וּמַכִּיכָא לֵיתָהָא מִן מַשְׁכָּא וְהִיא עָמְיָא וְיַסְגְּרִנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא שִׁבְעָא יוֹמִין: (כב) וְאִם אוֹסָפָא תוֹסֵף בְּמַשְׁכָּא וִיסָאֵב כַּהֲנָא יָתֵיהּ מַכְתָּשָׁא הִיא: (כג) וְאִם בְּאַתְרָהָא קָמַת בֶּהַרְתָּא לָא אוֹסֵפַת רשֶׁם שִׁחֲנָא הִיא וִידַכִּנֵּיהּ כַּהֲנָא:
18. A person who will have an inflammation in his skin[1] and it heals, 19. and there will be in the place of the inflammation a white deepness or a white-red[2] brightness, it shall be shown to the priest. 20. The priest will see and behold, (if) its appearance is sunken[3] from the skin and its hair has turned white, the priest shall declare him unclean. It is an affliction of tzaraas multiplied in the inflammation. 21. And if the priest sees it and, behold, there is no white hair in it and it is not sunken from the skin, and it is faded, the priest shall quarantine him (for) seven days. 22. If it increased in the skin, the priest will declare him unclean; it is an affliction. 23. And if the brightness remained in its place,[4] not having spread, it is a scar from the inflammation. The priest shall declare him clean.
