Parah 9:4-5

Parah 9:4

Rabbi Eliezer says that if one intends to drink the sanctification water, it is invalid. Rabbi Yehoshua says it isn’t invalidated until that person tips the flask (to drink from it). Rabbi Yosi that this only applies to water that has not yet been sanctified. When it comes to water that has been sanctified, Rabbi Eliezer says it's only invalidated when one tips the flask; Rabbi Yehoshua says it's only invalidated when one drinks from it. If the water was poured (into one’s mouth instead of him drinking from it), it remains valid.

Parah 9:5

Sanctification water that was invalidated may not be mixed into the mud because doing so is a disadvantage for others (who might be rendered ritually unclean from it). Rabbi Yehuda says that the water is nullified (by the mud and can no longer convey ritual impurity). If a cow drank from the sanctification water, its flesh is rendered unclean for 24 hours; Rabbi Yehuda says that the water is nullified in the cow’s innards.
