Parah 8:5-6

Parah 8:5

Derived ritual impurity (i.e., of the first or second degree) doesn’t render vessels unclean but it does render liquids unclean; if a liquid is rendered unclean, it renders vessels unclean. We see that the derived impurity renders the liquid unclean but it doesn’t render the vessel unclean; rather, the liquid renders the vessel unclean.

Parah 8:6

An earthenware vessel doesn’t render another vessel unclean but it does render a liquid unclean. If a liquid is rendered unclean, it renders the vessel unclean. We see that the first vessel renders the liquid unclean but it doesn’t render the second vessel unclean; rather, the liquid renders the second vessel unclean.
