3,166. What is "A Place Where Work is Completed"?
Hilchos Matnos Aniyim 5:13
A place where work is completed means a place where one intends to bring all the sheaves for threshing or to bring them to the threshing floor. A place where work is not completed means a place where sheaves are brought to bind them into larger sheaves in order to transport them elsewhere.
Hilchos Matnos Aniyim 5:14
If two bundles are separated from one another, shich’cha applies; if three, shich’cha doesn’t apply (because we assume the owner couldn’t have forgotten such a large quantity). If two sheaves are separated from one another, shich’cha applies; if three, shich’cha doesn’t apply.
