And on the Eighth Day…

On the eighth day, Moshe gathered Aharon, his sons and the Elders. He told Aharon to offer a calf and a ram as a sin offering and burnt offering, respectively. The Jews were to offer a goat (as a sin offering), a calf and a lamb (as a burnt offering), and a bull and a ram (as peace offerings), plus a flour offering. G-d was going to "appear" to them.
