Chapter 19
(א) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (ב) דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־כׇּל־עֲדַ֧ת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֥ אֲלֵהֶ֖ם קְדֹשִׁ֣ים תִּהְי֑וּ כִּ֣י קָד֔וֹשׁ אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (ג) אִ֣ישׁ אִמּ֤וֹ וְאָבִיו֙ תִּירָ֔אוּ וְאֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתַ֖י תִּשְׁמֹ֑רוּ אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (ד) אַל־תִּפְנוּ֙ אֶל־הָ֣אֱלִילִ֔ם וֵֽאלֹהֵי֙ מַסֵּכָ֔ה לֹ֥א תַעֲשׂ֖וּ לָכֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (ה) וְכִ֧י תִזְבְּח֛וּ זֶ֥בַח שְׁלָמִ֖ים לַיהֹוָ֑ה לִֽרְצֹנְכֶ֖ם תִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּ׃ (ו) בְּי֧וֹם זִבְחֲכֶ֛ם יֵאָכֵ֖ל וּמִֽמׇּחֳרָ֑ת וְהַנּוֹתָר֙ עַד־י֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י בָּאֵ֖שׁ יִשָּׂרֵֽף׃ (ז) וְאִ֛ם הֵאָכֹ֥ל יֵאָכֵ֖ל בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י פִּגּ֥וּל ה֖וּא לֹ֥א יֵרָצֶֽה׃ (ח) וְאֹֽכְלָיו֙ עֲוֺנ֣וֹ יִשָּׂ֔א כִּֽי־אֶת־קֹ֥דֶשׁ יְהֹוָ֖ה חִלֵּ֑ל וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מֵעַמֶּֽיהָ׃ (ט) וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶם֙ אֶת־קְצִ֣יר אַרְצְכֶ֔ם לֹ֧א תְכַלֶּ֛ה פְּאַ֥ת שָׂדְךָ֖ לִקְצֹ֑ר וְלֶ֥קֶט קְצִֽירְךָ֖ לֹ֥א תְלַקֵּֽט׃ (י) וְכַרְמְךָ֙ לֹ֣א תְעוֹלֵ֔ל וּפֶ֥רֶט כַּרְמְךָ֖ לֹ֣א תְלַקֵּ֑ט לֶֽעָנִ֤י וְלַגֵּר֙ תַּעֲזֹ֣ב אֹתָ֔ם אֲנִ֖י יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ (יא) לֹ֖א תִּגְנֹ֑בוּ וְלֹא־תְכַחֲשׁ֥וּ וְלֹֽא־תְשַׁקְּר֖וּ אִ֥ישׁ בַּעֲמִיתֽוֹ׃ (יב) וְלֹֽא־תִשָּׁבְע֥וּ בִשְׁמִ֖י לַשָּׁ֑קֶר וְחִלַּלְתָּ֛ אֶת־שֵׁ֥ם אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ (יג) לֹֽא־תַעֲשֹׁ֥ק אֶת־רֵֽעֲךָ֖ וְלֹ֣א תִגְזֹ֑ל לֹֽא־תָלִ֞ין פְּעֻלַּ֥ת שָׂכִ֛יר אִתְּךָ֖ עַד־בֹּֽקֶר׃ (יד) לֹא־תְקַלֵּ֣ל חֵרֵ֔שׁ וְלִפְנֵ֣י עִוֵּ֔ר לֹ֥א תִתֵּ֖ן מִכְשֹׁ֑ל וְיָרֵ֥אתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃
(א) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (ב) מַלֵּל עִם כָּל כְּנִשְׁתָּא דִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְתֵימַר לְהוֹן קַדִּישִׁין תְּהוֹן אֲרֵי קַדִּישׁ אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן: (ג) גְּבַר מִן אִמֵּיהּ וּמִן אֲבוּהִי תְּהוֹן דָּחֲלִין וְיָת יוֹמֵי שַׁבַּיָּא דִילִי תִּטְרוּן אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן: (ד) לָא תִתְפְּנוּן בָּתַר טַעֲוָן וְדַחֲלָן דְּמַתְּכָא לָא תַעְבְּדוּן לְכוֹן אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן: (ה) וַאֲרֵי תִכְּסוּן נִכְסַת קוּדְשַׁיָּא קֳדָם יְיָ לְרַעֲוָא לְכוֹן תִּכְּסֻנֵּיהּ: (ו) בְּיוֹמָא דְיִתְנְכֵס יִתְאֲכֵל וּבְיוֹמָא דְבַתְרוֹהִי וּדְאִשְׁתָּאַר עַד יוֹמָא תְלִיתָאָה בְּנוּרָא יִתּוֹקָד: (ז) וְאִם אִתְאֲכָלָא יִתְאֲכֵל בְּיוֹמָא תְלִיתָאָה מְרָחָק הוּא לָא יְהֵי לְרַעֲוָא: (ח) וּדְיֵיכְלִנֵּיהּ חוֹבֵיהּ יְקַבֵּל אֲרֵי יָת קוּדְשָׁא דַיְיָ אַחֵל וְיִשְׁתֵּיצֵי אֲנָשָׁא הַהוּא מְעַמֵּיהּ: (ט) וּבְמֶחְצָדְכוֹן יָת חֲצָדָא דְאַרְעֲכוֹן לָא תְשֵׁיצֵי פָּאתָא דְחַקְלָךְ לְמֶחְצָד וּלְקָטָא דַחֲצָדָךְ לָא תְלַקֵּט: (י) וְכַרְמָךְ לָא תְעָלֵל וְנִתְרָא דְכַרְמָךְ לָא תְלַקֵּט לְעַנְיֵי וּלְגִיּוֹרֵי תִּשְׁבּוֹק יָתְהוֹן אֲנָא יְיָ אֱלָהָכוֹן: (יא) לָא תִּגְנְבוּן וְלָא תְכַדְּבוּן וְלָא תְשַׁקְּרוּן אֱנַשׁ בְּחַבְרֵיהּ: (יב) וְלָא תִשָּׁבְעוּן בִּשְׁמִי לְשִׁקְרָא וְתַחֵל יָת שְׁמָא דֶאֱלָהָךְ אֲנָא יְיָ: (יג) לָא תַעֲשׁוֹק יָת חַבְרָךְ וְלָא תְאַנֵּס לָא תְבִית אַגְרָא דַאֲגִירָא לְוָתָךְ עַד צַפְרָא: (יד) לָא תְלוּט דְּלָא שָׁמַע וְקֳדָם דְּלָא חָזֵי לָא תְשִׂים תַּקְלָא וְתִדְחַל מֵאֱלָהָךְ אֲנָא יְיָ:
1. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 2. Speak with the entire congregation of Israel and say to them, You shall be holy because I, Hashem your God, am holy. 3. A person shall revere[1] his mother and his father, and observe My Sabbath days; I am Hashem your God. 4. Do not turn after errors[2] and molten terrors[3] you shall not make for yourselves; I am Hashem your God. 5. When you sacrifice a holiness sacrifice[4] before Hashem, you shall sacrifice it for your acceptance. 6. On the day of its sacrificing[5] (it) shall be eaten, and on the next day, and what remains until the third day shall be burned in fire. 7. And if it should be eaten on the third day, it is rejected;[6] it won’t be accepted. 8. One who eats it[7] will incur his sin because he desecrated that which is holy to Hashem; that person[8] shall be eradicated from his[9] people. 9. In your harvesting the harvest of your land, you shall not complete to reap the corners of your field, and the gleanings of your harvest you shall not glean. 10. Your vineyard you shall not glean, and the fallen[10] (fruit) of your vineyard you shall not gather; for the needy[11] and for the converts you shall leave them. I am Hashem your God. 11. You shall not steal, and you shall not deceive, and you shall not deal falsely with one another.[12] 12. And you shall not swear by My name falsely; you will desecrate the name of your God. I am Hashem. 13. You shall not oppress your fellow, and you shall not rob. The wages of a hired worker shall not remain with you until morning. 14. You shall not curse one who doesn’t hear[13] and before one who doesn’t see[14] you shall not place an obstacle. And you shall fear from your God; I am Hashem.
